The short version. RadioCheck runs entirely on your own Mac. Your telemetry, your lap recordings, your settings and anything you say to Alan stay on your computer. We have no servers holding your data, no user accounts, and no tracking.
The only personal information we ever hold is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one for the beta list.
RadioCheck is an independent project run by Rubén Martínez López, an individual based in Spain. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, write to hi@radiocheckapp.com.

You can delete all of it at any time by removing the folder
~/Library/Application Support/RadioCheck and dragging the app to the Trash.
RadioCheck is not fully offline, and we would rather be precise than vague about it. These are all of them:

If you enable voice commands, macOS will ask your permission for microphone access. Audio is transcribed on your Mac by a speech recognition model that runs locally. Nothing is uploaded for transcription. The microphone is only opened while the feature is actually in use.
Today, nothing is sent. When RadioCheck hits a problem it writes a log file on your Mac and that is all. Nothing about the failure reaches us unless you choose to send it yourself.
If we ever add a way to report crashes from inside the app, it will be optional and asked every time, you will see the contents before anything leaves, and it will never include your recordings, your credentials or your microphone audio. We will update this page before that ships, not after.
This site sets no cookies and does not profile visitors. We use a privacy-preserving analytics service that reports aggregate figures (page views, rough country, referring site) without cookies and without building a profile of you. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
If you give us your email address for the beta list, we use it for one thing: to email you about RadioCheck. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone beyond the email service that sends the messages. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list. The list is stored on Cloudflare, the same provider that hosts this site, together with the language you signed up in and the date.
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, its correction, its deletion, and to object to its processing. In practice the only personal data we hold is a beta-list email address, so in most cases the answer to "what do you have on me?" is "nothing, unless you signed up". Write to hi@radiocheckapp.com and we will act within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
RadioCheck is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. If you are on the beta list, we will email you.
